The Vietnam National Forum on English-Medium Instruction (EMI) 2026, organised by the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH), under the theme “English Medium Instruction: A Strategic Driver for Vietnam’s National English as a Second Language Initiative,” provides a platform for academic exchange, experience sharing, and stakeholder engagement in the development of EMI in Vietnam. The Forum focuses on policy directions, international trends, practical implementation, and the development of a national EMI ecosystem, while highlighting UEH’s internationalisation journey and its strategic partnership with OxfordEMI. It also aims to promote the Vietnam English-Medium Instruction Network, strengthening connections among government agencies, educational institutions, experts, international organisations, and businesses to support the development of EMI in Vietnam.
